I have gone through Team Gleason for the ModelTalker reimbursement- it's pretty straightforward. The family does have to kind of spearhead it, though- Team Gleason won't just talk to us.

I recently heard on a voice banking webinar that voice banking can be covered by insurance using HCPS E2511- Speech Generating Voice Prosthesis.  I checked ASHAs website and it appears this code falls under the jurisdiction of the Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractors (DME MACs).

Does anyone have experience billing and receiving reimbursement for voice banking with Medicare or other insurances?
