Subject: Re: [QIAT] Something like Verbally

I just happened to be reading the presentation posted earlier on QIAT about "Voice Banking" from John Costello at the ACP program at Children's Hospital. There seem to be different ways to achieve the goal. May be worthwhile contacting the program to see if the have any simple solutions. Keep us posted!

I have a middles school student ASD, but also selective mute.  She is motivated to use Verbally and this seems to be a good fit for her so far, but the Speech Therapist that works with her is wondering if there is something like it, but where she can record her own voice instead of or in addition to the computer voice, either at home or in a private area in the school.  She indicated that she would be willing to try that.
