Subject: OT survey
Morning, if you can forward to any clients with ALS, that would be great, and feel free to pass it on. It's from an AOTA list-serve about how clients with ALS see OT. Thanks, Amber
Good day fellow OTs,
My name is Luiza Aminov, OTR/L, a post-professional Doctorate of Occupational Therapy candidate with Quinnipiac University Department of Occupational Therapy, under Anna Norene Carlson, OTD, OTR/L. I am reaching out to you for help and referral.
We have designed a questionnaire to understand how occupational therapy services impact the quality of life of people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). This study aims to understand the impact occupational therapy (OT) has on the quality of life of people with ALS. The findings of this study are crucial for the occupational therapy profession as it may help OT researchers understand the most effective interventions for the ALS community in order to ensure they have the highest quality of life possible.

This research has been approved by Quinnipiac University IRB and the approval letter is available upon request.
If you may kindly forward and or share this invitation/link with individuals with ALS or a non-paid caregiver to help obtain a thorough understanding of current practice in the occupational therapy field when it comes to providing interventions to people with ALS.
Much appreciated,
Luiza Aminov MS OTR/L
