I cannot help on verbally, but you might want to try a different app. On android there was "text to speech" (I believe) that responded to an enter key to read sentences as they were typed from Bluetooth.

Hi all,
Sorry if this seems very basic, but I have a client who uses a Bluetooth keyboard in his lap while the iPad is attached to an arm at better eye level.
When typing his messages on the keyboard, we are looking for a keyboard short cut that will allow verbally to speak the message instead if reaching up to touch speak on the screen. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?
