Our lending library puts a lot of wear and tear on our amps and mics and the Luminaud Spokeman and 3Way High Gain mic are great quality and hold up better than the less expensive ones we have tried.
I agree with Helen that if your client can use voice recognition software it provides a less expensive and simpler solution than eye tracking. I typcially just stick with Dragon Naturally Speaking and have had great results with the latest version.
Head tracking may be an option too if VR isn't going to work or even as a supplement to VR. By the way, the new Quha Zono headtrackers are working well for us. They can be set to be more sensitive to small movements then other head trackers.
