An invertor can attach to the power wheelchair batteries, and turn the w/c batteries into usable power, generally through a cigarette plug adapter. Not generally covered by insurance, but Vocational Rehab should for a college student.

Subject: 110 Plug on Wheelchair

*CAUTION: External Email*

I have a client that is a college student that we are looking at providing eye gaze for. It would advantageous for her to have a way to charge her device via her Permobil C300 - ideas?

The eye gaze device requires a 110 Plug, so USB will not cut it.
