You could try a Z Wave or Easywave based system as both of these have plug in repeater modules

Subject: Call Bell System -- need help

HI folks,

I am asking for input regarding a wireless call bell system.

I have a person with ALS that needs a switch activated wireless call bell system. She is a mental health professional that has an office in her basement. The office is surrounded by stone and the wireless door chimes the caregivers have tried have not been successful in getting a signal out of her office. She can’t press a standard button at this time so she needs a switch by which she can activate the system.

She can’t have a baby monitor or other type of device because of privacy concerns. I think this would also rule out using an Echo/Google Home type device??

I’ve been surfing around the internet without success so I thought I would reach out and see if any of you had ideas.

Thanks!
