Wireless Pal pad or Free hand can both accomplish this with direct
switch input to individual X-10 receiver.  I am 90% sure the free hand
lets you plug in an external switch if the freehand switch itself is not
suitable.

There are any number of different switches or switch styles that you can

get.  I've used the 8 switch remote myself for various Christmas lights
around the house.  You may have to buy a receiver module to translate
the
RF or infrared into x10, but it all available (and usually on-sale in
some
sort of whacky package) from www.x10.com.
