While I'm in BCI research, I'm not thinking of a study group in the DC
area off the top of my head.  It also depends on what you mean by a study.
If you are talking about a study that will provide a BCI to use
independently in the home, there just aren't many of those yet.  The
biggest is headquartered in Albany, NY at the Wadsworth Center.  They have
a multi-site study assiciated with VA hospitals starting up, but I don't
know many of the details or where all the sites are.
