Interesting talk about how people perceive their voice Antoinette Verdone 26 Oct 2011 04:36 UTC

If you don't listen to RadioLab (you should), then you missed this awesome episode.

An interesting story about how people perceive their voices.

I know that in my five years working with ALS patients exclusively, I ran into patients that refused to use a communication device and insisted using their very slurred speech. This might give some light to what is going on in these patient's heads.

I would love to hear other's reaction to this story, and if you have ever actually recorded someone with speech impairments and what the reaction was.
