My C12s have crashed for multiple reasons:  trying to make a selection before it processed the first one, pressing the power button to turn off the system instead of going through the Windows or VS Communicator "shutdown" button, trying to set-up the IR, trying to run the system for 24/7 without shutting it off.  I had one patient who was having to reboot approximately 3X every 2 hours.  Tobii is aware of these issues and is working on a solution.

I've only tried to install one non-communication software program.  It didn't make the system crash, but the software wouldn't run.  The software manufacture said it was because it the device runs on Vista and not XP.

 Hi there,
I have a head tracker user who just got the c12. In order to keep the system from crashing, it appears that he needs to stay in sonokeys to access the internet, email, etc. going to the internet through the desktop may have caused the system to crash, if I understand things correctly. So that is what is advised. He wants to load games; this has been discouraged due to potential for crashing the system. Any experiences pro/con with loading software to the c12 unrelated to communication?
