Home Automation Deadbolt Question antoinette@xxxxxx 12 Jan 2018 15:26 UTC

Hello, we are doing a lot more consumer based ECU systems. I have
gravitated towards SmartThings, which uses Z wave as I have been able to
make it do everything I want for my clients, with one exception.

If we install a door opener with a deadbolt, I like to give clients
direct access if at all possible - in case of emergency and/or internet
going down. I can do this for the door opener, but not for the Z-wave
deadbolt we have been using.

So, what I am looking for is a Z-wave (or smartthings compatible)
deadbolt that has a hand held remote. If it has a hand held remote, we
can switch adapt it so that we can provide direct access.

I am open to other suggestions for a non-internet method of access a
deadbolt as a backup.

Sincerely,
