BCI - Intendix Coggiola, Jennifer L. 29 Jan 2013 02:06 UTC
I've attached a researcher's write-up of an Intendix BCI trial with one of my patients. The researcher was in the Bay Area and graciously offered his time for this super-smart, loveable pALS. This pALS was a vent-dependent tech guy from Silicon Valley who would have been described as a power-user on an EyeMax until his eyes were moderately affected by ALS. In the end, my patient decided that the BCI was too fatiguing and slow, that low tech worked better although it was limiting, and he decided to withdraw from the vent. The family gave me permission to pass this along to other pALS and this listserv specifically.
