5th International BCI Meeting

I thought that this list might be interested in the 5th International Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Meeting that will be held in Pacific Grove, California at the Asilomar Conference Center June 3-7th, 2013. This meeting happens every 3 years and brings together BCI researchers from around the world. Information can be found at http://bcimeeting.org/2013/
As chair of the program committee, I am very interested in potential BCI consumers having a voice at the meeting. While the meeting is primarily designed and intended for BCI researchers, we need to hear from the people who will use our devices. We will therefore be offering a reduced registration rate for potential BCI users. We are also putting together a "Virtual BCI Users' Forum" that will hopefully have quotes, personal experiences and (if people are willing) video about experiences with BCIs and the challenges that remain to be overcome. We would welcome having more people from the clinical front-lines in attendance as well.
Check out the webpage for information about attendance and let me know if you have someone who might like to contribute to the Virutal BCI Users' Forum.

the one that heralds new discoveries, is not
'Eureka!' (I've found it!), but 'That's
funny...'." -- Isaac Asimov
