Eye Blink Switches Amy Roman (13 Nov 2013 20:09 EST)

Eye Blink Switches Amy Roman 14 Nov 2013 01:09 UTC

Hi Alisa and List,
Has anyone had success with any of the eye blink switches? Any recommendations? The ones I have in the library are so old and I borrowed one from a company that just didn't seem to work well. Perhaps it was just a glitchy switch. I don't want to give up on them if others are having success with them. The big problem the last time I loaned one to a patient was accidental activations even with a lot of time spent on sensitivity settings. There is also a big price difference between the the one from Enabling Devices and the one from Amdi. I can't find a price for the IST and am not even sure if it is still available.

Sincerely,

Amy Roman, MS, CCC-SLP
